We’ve had many pinch-me moments at Scrut since our start in 2021. Becoming a LinkedIn Top 20 Startup is definitely one of them. We’re extremely grateful to LinkedIn for recognizing our drive and team spirit.
Right from the get go, it’s the people at Scrut who are at the heart of everything we do. We’re a team that celebrates each other, our work, and our achievements enthusiastically.
Scrut’s journey so far
We’ve come a very long way in a short time. Today, we serve over 800 global customers and have raised $20.5 million in funding from top venture capital firms, with over 180 team members across North America, Europe, and India, and counting.

But, this increase in number has not changed our dynamic. As our CEO Aayush Ghosh Choudhury said in a recent townhall, “We’re a team that is expanding rapidly, but still manages to be close-knit.”.
So how does a team with 180-odd team members spread across three continents, a large number of whom work remotely, manage to be close-knit? Here’s how:
We celebrate each other’s wins
It’s not a Scrut company-wide meet if it doesn’t have team members backing each other through and through. Whether it’s someone successfully devising an exciting new feature or someone else finally mastering the recipe for sourdough bread, no win is too small. Our team meetings always leave us feeling hyped up because we love recognizing each other’s achievements—both at work and beyond.
We collaborate like a well-oiled machine
The use of “machine” may not be the best choice of words when describing the human element of Scrut, but it’s a fitting analogy. We work seamlessly across teams to create and innovate. Shazia from our Product team shares, “Our regular brainstorming sessions always lead to great ideas. These discussions have driven some of our most impactful product features, making compliance easier for our customers.”
We know how to have fun
When the opportunity to have fun presents itself we make sure to grab it. At Scrut, we work hard, but we also know how to have a good time. From competitive cricket matches to celebrating festivals together, we make sure there’s always room for fun. Our team meetups and outings are packed with laughter and memories, whether in person or virtually.
We support each other’s growth
Scrut is all about growth—both as a company and as individuals. We’re constantly encouraging our team to push the boundaries and reach their full potential. For example, when Tanusha Bhogadi joined as an Information Security Intern in 2023, her passion and enthusiasm led to her promotion to a full-time Information Security Analyst within just five months. At Scrut, there’s no limit to how far you can grow.
We have each other’s backs
Some days, work can feel challenging, but that’s when the Scrut team steps in. From managers who help resolve roadblocks to teammates who jump in when you’re stuck, bad days don’t last long here.
Our Sales Director Shubham Chapparia shares how his team supports one another: “Our team manages a high volume of calls, making teamwork essential. Recently, one of our account executives was on a call that overlapped with another scheduled meeting. Without missing a beat, he quickly briefed a colleague via text. The transition was seamless, and together they closed the deal. This smooth, relay-style collaboration helps us close sales faster and serve our clients better.”
An empathetic and supportive management
At Scrut, management doesn’t just lead—they listen. Work-life balance is a top priority, which is why we offer benefits like flexible work hours and paid time off to prevent burnout.
